A semi-analytical model on the critical buckling load of perforated plates with opposite free edges

چکیده

Perforated plates are widely used in thin-walled engineering structures, for example, lightweight designs of structures and access installation. For the purpose analysis, such perforated with two opposite free edges might be considered as a series successive Timoshenko beams. A new semi-analytical model was developed this study using shear beam theory critical buckling load plates, characteristic equations derived. Results proposed modelling were compared those obtained by FEM show good agreement. The influence dividing number beams on accuracy studied respect to various boundary conditions. And effect geometrical parameters, aspect ratio, thickness-to-width ratio cutout-to-width also investigated. shows that can analysis plate capacity consider thick plates.
